SCREENING AND DUE DILIGENCE ON RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1. Due Diligence:

We have a policy commitment prohibiting the charging of recruitment fees and related costs to migrant workers, irrespective of where or how they are recruited.

1.1. Advertisement:

After completing the procedure in the Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE) we advertise in the national newspaper and social media. The advertisements for migrant workers clearly stipulate that recruitment fees and related costs will not be charged to the employees.

1.2. Screening:

We conduct village campaigns to eliminate the possibility of involvement of money and prevent the entry of sub-agent between agencies and employees. In this campaign, interviews will be conducted with local government administration and various organizations working on human rights to ensure that no one has to pay money to go to foreign employment.

1.3. Recruitment fees and Expenses:

We inform candidates/ jobseekers during the recruitment process that they do not bear any costs of recruitment. The company’s website, general advertisement materials and any other public information channels which are used, especially those channels targeting job seekers, clearly indicate that no fees or related costs to job seekers are charged

1.4. Employment Contract:

Contracts, offer letters or any other type of communication with the migrant employees clearly state in an understandable language that recruitment fees and related costs will not be charged to them.

1.5. Departure:

Before departure, another inquiry is conducted as a final step in the due diligence process. The employees who are about to go to foreign employment are checked whether they have paid money or not in the presence of their relatives. If we are found to have given money under the influence of someone, we will try to return that money with the help of the local government and administration.
